Two metres by forty-five centimetres, in the same stonewashed flax as the napkins and hemmed the same way. Sized to run the length of a six- to eight-seat table with a hand's width of overhang at each end.
A runner rather than a full cloth because it leaves the wood visible, protects the middle of the table where dishes actually land, and goes in the wash without being a laundry event.

- Flax woven in Lithuania. Cut, hemmed and washed in Portugal.
Care
- Machine wash warm, up to 40°C.
- Tumble dry low and remove slightly damp.
- Press with steam on the linen setting if you want it flat.
- Expect 2–3% further shrinkage on the first hot wash.
Cautions
- No bleach, no optical brighteners, no fabric softener.
- Not above 40°C and not tumble dried hot.
- Candle wax on linen is a genuine problem — lift what you can when set, then press through brown paper. It does not always come out entirely.
