A sixteen-centimetre vase with a bellied body and a neck narrowed to twenty-two millimetres — wide enough for three or four stems, narrow enough that they stand where you put them instead of falling open against the rim.
Thrown as one piece and collared in at the neck on the wheel, which is the difficult part of the form. The neck diameter varies by a couple of millimetres between vases as a result.
Fully glazed inside, so it holds water without weeping.

- Buff iron-speckled stoneware body, satin bone-white glaze inside and out, lead-free. Fired to 1240°C (cone 6) in an electric kiln.

- Satin matte glaze, pooling darker in the curve of the shoulder. Speckle varies. Neck diameter and the exact profile of the belly differ between pieces — this form is collared by hand on the wheel and is the least repeatable shape in the catalog.

- Thrown, glazed and fired in northern Portugal.
Care
- Empty and rinse between arrangements. Change the water every two days.
- Dishwasher-safe, though the narrow neck will not fully clear — rinse by hand and let it drain upside down.
- Mineral rings inside the neck lift with white vinegar left to stand.
Cautions
- Not for the freezer, broiler or direct flame.
- Do not leave standing water in it for weeks — it will not damage the glaze, but the smell is difficult to shift.
